Sumi Ink Stick & Suzuri Stone

Our sumi ink sticks and natural suzuri stone are used together to create black sumi ink for your paintings. By gently grinding the ink stick against the stone with a small amount of water, rich black hues are created. Great for calligraphy or sumi-e painting.
